It’s that time of year again – the fall season of changing leaves and cooler weather and the annual education and training event for the Autodesk community: Autodesk University.
I’ll be attending this year after many missed sessions – I last attended in 1994. As it has been for a while now this years event is in Las Vegas, but unlike the typical slogan for the city of Vegas, this is one function where what happens in Vegas needs NOT stay in Vegas.
My focus for this years event is on Revit MEP and general AutoCAD customization and training. This is timely for this month’s focus on training, and my recent article published in AUGI World for November titled “The Domino Effect“, which discusses the benefits and Domino effect of training.
This event like the premise of this blog is to learn new and or better ways of doing things! During my week at AU2011 I will try to post at least one update summarizing the event and any new and exciting things I learn this year to the blog.
I know I have been a bit behind the last couple months, but other responsibilities and my othe blog have kept me jumping. Now that I have some breathing room and what is sure to be some new energy after attending AU, I’ll get back in to at least a monthly posting rhythm again.
P.S. Happy Thanksgiving!
